Description: Safety across large organizations is like herding cats! With all of the different departments within your city, how do you get everyone on the same page? How can a city safety plan address the unique hazards of your specialized departments like water-wastewater, fire, street & road and electric? We’ll discuss simple strategies that are effective in managing safety and how to engage departmental leadership with the common mission of employee safety and cost savings. There is one thing for sure about improving city employee safety – it takes work, coordination, strength, support and accountability – all of which will be discussed in this presentation.
