presented by James C. Hetlage and Julie Z. Devine, Lashly & Baer, P.C.

The Federal Government has adopted the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) - sweeping new laws to respond to COVID-19.  This webinar will focus on those aspects of these new laws that directly impact Missouri cities, including emergency paid sick leave, expanded Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requirements, exclusions for emergency responders and health care providers, and essential funding provisions for local governments and municipalities in the CARES Act.
