Community Conservation Workshop
May 7-9, 2013

You're invited to attend the first statewide workshop hosted by the Missouri Department of Conservation on connecting your community to nature. Resource conservation is becoming an increasingly vital component of urban planning in our cities. This three-day workshop will provide opportunities to learn how to integrate ecological services into the built environment of your community.

A diverse schedule of session topics will culminate in an understanding of the economic, environmental and social benefits that are realized through community stewardship of natural resources.

Workshop Highlights

• Workshop sessions featuring speakers from: City Governments, Regional Planning Councils, the Missouri Department of Conservation, the National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, University of Arkansas Community Design Center, and more

• Tuesday evening social with special guests the Fishin' Magicians
