SUBJECT: Civic Leadership Awards Banquet, July 20, 2017, Blue Springs
The city of Blue Springs will host the next meeting of the West Gate Division of the Missouri Municipal League on Thursday, July 20, 2017. This meeting will be held at the Adams Pointe Conference Center, 1400 NE Coronado Drive, in Blue Springs.
We will be conducting the Civic Leadership Award Program at this July meeting. This banquet gives our communities an opportunity to recognize the outstanding contributions of business and civic leaders in developing stronger cities. Each mayor has been asked to select an outstanding civic leader in his or her community. The civic leader selected by your city and his or her spouse, will be guests of your city for dinner and will be presented with a Certificate of Appreciation. The meeting will begin with registration and social hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. The recognition of the honorees will follow the dinner.
Registration Fees: The cost of the dinner will be $40 per person, tax and gratuity included. All registrations must be made online regardless of payment option. You may pay by credit card, or if submitting a check, choose the "Bill Me" option. When submitting payment by check, please submit only one (1) check for all registrations submitted by your city, made payable to the Missouri Municipal League. We regret any inconvenience this may cause; however, it has become necessary in order to avoid misunderstandings.
Please let your city clerk know if you would like to attend so that they may register you on the League’s website. Registration must be received by July 14, 2017.
Cancellations: Due to the requirements that meal guarantees be made in advance, cancellations must be made by email to Lori Noe at email@example.com or by fax at 573-635-9009 to League headquarters by 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, or it will be necessary to bill you for the cost of the meal.
