2013 Central Meeting - Marshall, MO

The City of Marshall will host the next meeting of the Missouri Municipal League's Central Division, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. The meeting will be held at the Martin Community Center, 1985 S Odell Ave (Highway 65) in Marshall.
Registration and social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. The fried chicken and brisket dinner will start at 7:00 p.m. and will be catered by Cory Jackson. The registration fee for the meeting (including the dinner) will be $14 per person (tax and gratuity included).
Following dinner, Richard Sheets, MML's deputy director and chief lobbyist, will review what happened in this year's legislative session with emphasis on the new laws that passed and how they will affect your city. Some of the potential issues for the 2013 session include: Sunshine Law changes, fixing the out-of-state vehicle sales loop hole, collective bargaining, tax reform, prevailing wage and tax increment financing.
When you have completed your registration please print off your confirmation and invoice for your records.
RSVPs must be received by 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013. Due to the requirement that meal guarantees be made in advance, cancellations must be made by email to Lori Noe at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax at 573-635-9009 at League headquarters by 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, or it will be necessary to bill you for the cost of the meal.
